Melissa Killeen is an established Recovery Coach with broad understanding of this new field of recovery coaching. In her first book, Recovery Coaching – A Guide to Coaching People in Recovery from Addiction, she writes about the knowledge she has from many years of personal recovery, recovery coaching, developing community recovery support centers and training recovery coaches.
Killeen is the past president of Recovery Coaches International, an international association of recovery coaches.
She received her Master’s Degree in Executive Coaching and a Master’s of Philosophy in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.
With many years of personal recovery, she realized when studying executive coaching, the impact recovery coaching would have for those in the rooms struggling in sobriety, who want recovery but can’t seem to achieve it.
